Unlike traditional PIR sensors, the SNZB-06P uses 5.8GHz microwave radar to detect presence within a 4-meter range, even if the person remains still. This allows lights to stay on as long as someone is in the room and turn off automatically when they leave.
It includes a built-in light sensor, ensuring lights only activate when ambient light is low. The sensor supports scene automation, such as turning on lights when someone enters a room or triggering alarms when unexpected presence is detected.
The SNZB-06P requires a Zigbee hub like the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro, NSPanel Pro, or iHost, and is compatible with SmartThings and Alexa Zigbee. It’s powered by a USB-C cable, offering stable performance without battery replacement.
